Wherever we go we always ask to see the local baitfish.

The color combinations and sizes of this series of flies were gleaned from photographs and notes taken during our many trips.

One of the first things we noted was most baitfish species share a common trait-large eyes relative to their body size.
All of our Bluewater Baitfish Series flies are constructed using the lightest and best synthetics materials on the market today.

The flies are 6 inches in length and tied on 6/0 heavy duty saltwater hooks, but they are easily cast on 8 weight fly tackle.

This series is one of our first choices for school yellowfin tuna, wahoo, dorado, king mackerel and giant trevally.
